Russ Whitlock - Owner
Russ started his journey in the architectural field in 1989 when he began working for a local Registered Architect in the small upstate New York town of Catskill. In a time where hand drafted construction documents were still the focus of many architects, Russ was able to learn the art of architectural drawing and lettering from his mentors while on the job. In the years to follow, the majority of the design world transitioned to computer aided drafting.

With a career spanning over 30 years, Russ has worked on a wide variety of projects throughout different regions of the U.S. Working as an architectural designer, job captain, project manager, product specialist and independent CAD consultant, he has been involved in all phases of construction projects from Schematic Design through Construction Administration.

Over the past 10 years, Russ has surveyed and drawn existing conditions (as-builts) for hundreds of locations throughout the country, with a focus on retail, commercial, residential and multi-family projects. Building strong, positive working relationships with clients is key to the success of any project, and Russ takes pride in maintaining those relationships throughout the project and beyond.

In his free time, Russ enjoys spending time with his family: wife Melisa, teen daughter Kylie, their dog Coco and cat Tiger. They love to travel, play golf and volunteer in their community. Russ and Melisa coach multiple basketball teams for their local church athletic program.
